Entrepreneur: Kakeda Sun Country: Cambodia Products: Kramas |
Kakeda Sun lives in Chrouy Ampil Village in Cambodia. She is a krama, a Cambodian scarf, weaver. Kakeda has taken out three loans from AMK Cambodia and two of them were funded by Kiva.org lenders (Loan 1, Loan 2).
Kakeda Sun, is Ahkun.org's first entrepreneur. We chose Kakeda Sun as our first entrepreneur because she has been visited by three generations of Kiva Fellows, and she has been very friendly each time. When I first visited her, with Kieran (former AMK Kiva Fellow) and Phanith (the AMK Kiva Coordinator), she gave us each a free krama. The last time I visited her, one of her family members offered me some mangoes while we sat down to do a video interview of Kakeda.
